Happy New Year!

Happy New Year everyone!

I hope everyone wants to start a new year fresh and clean although most of my new year’s resolution is not to have a new year’s resolution. Part of it though is to eat more fruit. I hope everyone’s Christmas was fantastic I got a new pair of boots that I wear everywhere and school is going very well. I love life. Also my favourite day is Thursday! Just random.

Whitehall

white-hall-outdoorI am now in year 5 and tomorrow is my 4th week of being a year 5. Last week on Monday and Tuesday I went to white hall with my school and it was awesome! Here is the list of everything I did. Also we were in teams. I’ll just show you Mondays timetable.

Monday

  1. Climbing wall.      There was a whole room with rough plastic rocks to hold onto and we played some games.
  2. Orienteering.        We got a map and had to find the white posts that were around white hall. They also had letters on them which spelt a word. The word we spelt was DRINK.
  3. Fire Pond                 We had 2 planks of wood and 2 big ropes. we tied them together and someone on my team went across and fell in! ( sort of.) We got a bit stuck so our instructor got another big plank just when it started to rain. Eventually we all got across. But I was the last one across and the first one to get across there and back. It was really fun!
  4. Little zip                     Mini zip wire but we had to clip a rope to us.

 

Going to France and Minecraft!

Going to France this summer was awesome! I had the greatest time and we went to go a bit of sight seeing in Paris. In other news Minecraft is one of my most beloved video games and I’ve found a server called the Hive which has been really cool to play whilst chilling! Also I got a bouret whilst we were sight seeing!1409504954074.2

summer challenges

  • This summer holidays we (My family)have started a summer challenge and we have 50 challenges. At least we’re trying to get 50.These are what we have so far.
  • Do the whole length of the monsal trail.
  • Go swimming.
  • Finish the summer reading challenge.
  • Create a website.(Which I have done!)
  • Build a bivvawac.
  • Learn how to tie 5 knots.
  • Camp in the wild.
  • Make some tortellini.
  • Discover 10 Derbyshire tourist attractions.
  • That’s all of the ones I can remember!

Priya and Dom

Chilling like a Boss!

Hello my name is Priya and I am 9. I live with my brother Dominic, my Dad Matt and my Mum Monica. I am going to be in year 5 and I am very excited about it. It is now the summer hols for me and it has been so hot! Sometimes I felt like my face was about to melt off! I was born in 2005.

I like to watch fun movies like despicable me. Most of the time my Mum is at work so it’s just me and the boys. I think of myself as a bit of a tomboy sometimes. I am from Yorkshire but I live in Buxton (or as people in Buxton say your not a real Buxtonian).

This is also my first website ever! Thanks for coming onto my blog.
